Vic Rupsin

Stencil Artist and Photographer
Langtoft

Vic Rupsin is 25 years of age and lives in the small village of Langtoft, near Peterborough. Urban Art and Photography have always been a passion for him and he has devoted a long time and energy into improving his skills and knowledge within these subjects.

"I've always had a keen interest in urban art from a early age, but 4 years back I had my first trip to Bristol and everything changed! I knew then I would be producing art in one form or another for the rest of my life. Like most new urban artists I started off by producing art that I had already seen, I wanted to find out "how was this done" and "how could I do it" Because of this my early work took inspiration from artists such as Blek le Rat and Shepard Fairey. However, as time has moved on so to have I developed my own style and methods."

His main work now focuses on simple, but very bold geometric patterns combined with multi-layered photographic stencils taken straight from his photography work.
