Arriving in Peterborough comes a unique and individual experience.

From a secret location you’ll start a journey through the city’s centre, exploring the found and the lost stories told by different characters that will help you around. With just you, a mobile phone and your imagination you’ll discover the landscapes and soundscapes like you’ve never done before. Peterborough becomes the stage and the people the performers.

Winners of critical acclaim and sold out shows in Peterborough, London and Edinburgh, You’re In Control Theatre Company are excited to present its 5th year as a big part of this summer’s festival season.

Walkabout will run from the 14th to the 17th July. The show runs approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Show times are listed below.

There is one ticket per performance so please book early.

To book a show text “I’m Peterborough” and the day and time you would like to 07854132551 (e.g. ‘I’m Peterborough at 1.30pm on the 16th’). If you are successful you will be text back with the location to meet for the start of the performance.  Please note: this is a partly outdoor performance. We advise you to dress for walking and weather.

Artistic director Tom Fox writes, directs and performs in Walkabout.
Tom Fox is a local actor, musician and improviser who has performed in Peterborough for many years. Tom has been the leading force in all of the company’s projects including improvised musicals, plays and soap operas, solo performances, films and school work. Their weird and wonderful style of making theatre seems well welcomed in the area so come and support this one-off premier.
